Boy style ouji fashion is a sub-style of Lolita that is inspired by Victorian era clothing worn by young boys. It can be a great alternative for a girl who doesn’t want to wear a skirt but still wants to show some feminine flair.
There are a few different types of boy style. The most popular styles are Ouji and Aristocrat, but there are also other substyles like pirate, punk or gothic that people wear to fit their specific theme.
Theme-related Accessories: A boy style outfit usually includes a pair of shorts or pants, a shirt, a vest, a headpiece or hat, and shoes. There are many kinds of accessories to choose from and it is all up to personal preference.
Pants: The most common type of boy style pant is the “pumpkin pants” that are a little shorter than Lolita pant lengths, but longer and more “boyish” looking pants are also available. A sleeveless top with a jacket or vest over it can complete the look.
Hair: The usual boy style hair is shaved and very short, but some people prefer to wear their hair long. They may use a hat to add some extra masculine touch, but it is not necessary.
Trousers: The most common pair of trousers is knee length, although there are some shorter and longer pants available for those who don’t want to go for full skirts. A sleeveless blouse with a vest over it is also a popular choice.
Boots: The boots that most people wear with boy style are either knee boots or mid-calf length shoes. These are usually clunky and gothic looking and make the outfit look more masculine.
Waistcoats: A waistcoat can be a very important part of a boy style outfit. It can help keep the outfit streamlined and it is an easy way to make your outfit look more stylish.
Other Accessories: The only real accessories that you really need for a Boystyle outfit are a fancy necktie, brooch, and some sort of headpiece or hat to finish it off. You can add a rose to the hat band if you really want to look elegant.
Male-to-Female Crossdressing: This is a trope that is seen quite a bit in Boystyle, particularly in the Aristocrat substyle. This can be due to the fact that some Boystylers find it easier to fit and match items in this style, but it can be done and looks good.
Too Many Belts: This is a very common trope in Boystyle and especially in the Ero Lolita substyle. This can be because a lot of Boystylers make use of useless garter belts, but it is also a problem in the Aristocrat substyle as well.
True Blue Feminity: This is a very common color to see in Boystyle and the Aristocrat substyle. This is because a lot of Boystylers try to look more “Gothic” or “Vampire” than they actually are by using dark, rich colors and over the top accessories.
